How Can Managed IT Services Support an Overloaded IT Department?

Hello everyone.

Our IT team is stretched thin, dealing with constant support requests, cybersecurity threats, and infrastructure management. We’re considering bringing in a provider to help handle overflow and improve efficiency.

We’re particularly interested in Managed IT Services for IT Departments, as they claim to offer 24/7 monitoring, cloud migration, backup solutions, cybersecurity, and virtual CIO support.

Has anyone here integrated such services with their internal IT department? How effective was it in reducing workload, improving security, and supporting strategic IT initiatives?

Are there any pitfalls or best practices we should be aware of before making this decision?
